“On the Bay” by Stewarts Bay Lodge is Port Arthur’s only fully licenced waterfront restaurant. Its delicious cuisine includes fresh local seafood complemented by a specially selected Tasmanian wine list. “On the Bay” is fully air conditioned and has two log fires for all year comfort.

Great location, stunning views & warm service

Thank you to Stewarts Bay Lodge for such enjoyable experience. This would have to be in the most stunningly beautiful part of Tasmania with such beautiful scenery, amazing water views and a wonderfully relaxed environment. It is a credit to the warm friendly hospitality we were given when we arrived and stayed at the Lady's Bay Lodge No. 26 (deluxe 1 bedroom chalet). In terms of location it is just right if you wish to visit the Port Arthur Historical Site. If you’re thinking of visiting Port Arthur for a memorable and quality experience, this is it. Lodges are immaculate, eco-friendly, spacious, well equipped, offer privacy and are in walking distance of the visitor’s center and an historic site accessed by a shore path along the bay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. On site waterfront restaurant a bonus. Beds are comfortable and outside deck relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, extending it an extra night! You won't be disappointed

Our two bedroomed lodge at Stewarts Bay was wonderful with every home comfort provided. The spa bath was a lovely treat, the beds very comfortable and the lodge is furnished beautifully. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting on the balcony watching a spectacular sunset. The restaurant is ideally situated with sea views, lovely staff and an excellent choice of food. There is also a walk along the beach which is worth doing for the gorgeous views. Our balcony overlooked bushland and my husband was lucky enough to see a Tasmanian devil in the wild.TRIP ADVISOR REVIEW
