Head out on this 4.3-km out-and-back trail near Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 31 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You’ll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren’t allowed on this trail.
This is an incredibly scenic trail through Tasman National Park, located in the south east region of Tasmania on the Tasman Peninsular – not too far from Hobart city.
The route begins from the Tasman Arch parking area and heads south, following the coast all the way to Waterfall Bay lookout and back. Some highlights along this section of the Tasman Coastal Trail include Patterson’s Arch, Devils Kitchen and of course Tasman Arch and Waterfall Bay Lookout.
There is parking an public toilets at the trailhead off Tasmans Arch Road.
