The Three Capes region offers some of the most iconic coastal walking experiences in Australia. Located within Tasman National Park, the area is home to the tallest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere, with dramatic views and rugged landscapes unlike anywhere else. While the full Three Capes Track is a multi-day experience, many visitors opt for single-day hikes such as Cape Raoul and Cape Hauy. Both are around a 20–30 minute drive from Stewarts Bay Lodge and reward walkers with breathtaking vistas, striking rock formations, and diverse native flora.
These trails are moderately challenging and require a reasonable level of fitness, but the effort is well worth it. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or simply seeking a memorable day out in nature, these tracks offer a true taste of Tasmania’s wild beauty.
